Attention, parents, and students! All City Band is the perfect after-school program for your 3rd-12th grade child. This program provides a unique opportunity for your child to learn show-style band instruction, music theory, and dance technique and participate in exciting performance opportunities. All students are welcome, regardless of their experience level. Whether your child is interested in band, drumline, or majorettes, there's something for everyone in All City Band. From marching and dancing to chants and drum and horn playing, our immersive program mirrors the flair, energy, and technique of an HBCU band/drumline to transform learning, increase engagement, and showcase the spirit of HBCU showstyle band, drumline, and dance.

Our Mission

All City Music’s mission is to reach the urban youth in the Twin Cities to bridge the art access and education gap by providing equitable arts programming through a cultural approach inspired by Historically Black College and University band culture.

Why All City Music?

We provide a unique experience to all students that immerses them in show-style band culture found at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) that is inaccessible in Minnesota.

Who Do We Serve?

Our programs focus on African American culture in music, education, and performance. We strive to validate, affirm, build, and bridge a cultural connection and experience for those who identify as African American. At the same time, our programs aim to provide a cross-cultural connection for those seeking to widen their perspective.

What we offer

All City Music-After School

All City Music Residency

3rd- 12th graders discover the transformative power of music education with our in-school residency program. Enhance musical skills and foster teamwork, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts through engaging workshops, interactive performances, and hands-on instruction.
